Centurion cardmembers' most requested hotels, restaurants, and more

What additional favourites in Hawaii would your Centurion Concierge recommend? We spoke with Centurion Concierges Shinichiro and Takeshi to get their thoughts on where Cardmembers absolutely must visit.

Centurion Concierges: Shinichiro and Takeshi

Shinichiro and Takeshi are Centurion Concierges based in Japan. Hawaii is an extremely popular travel destination for their Japanese clients, so Shinichiro and Takeshi had little difficulty offering excellent recommendations for Centurion members planning a visit to the Aloha State.

FOOD & WINE

Mariposa - Honolulu
Level Three
Neiman Marcus
1450 Ala Moana Boulevar
Honolulu
+1 808 951 3420
Located inside Neiman Marcus in Honolulu's Ala Moana Center, Mariposa offers not only an inspired crossover menu of Southwestern and New Hawaiian cuisine, but also a spectacular view from its outdoor deck of Ala Moana Beach Park and the Pacific Ocean beyond. Shinichiro and Takeshi say, "It is perfect for lunch while shopping, or for a lovely dinner."

Ono Hawaiian Foods
726 Kapahulu Avenue
Honolulu
+1 808 737 2275
If you're interested in an authentic taste of traditional island cuisine, a visit to Ono Hawaiian Foods is in order. Inexpensive, and extremely popular, Ono Hawaiian Foods serves classic dishes such as Laulau, Poi, and Lomi Salmon in a casual setting. Even locals will line up outside before Ono Hawaiian Foods opens its doors.

Nobu Waikiki
2233 Helumoa Road
Honolulu
+1 808 237 6999
The highly influential chef and restaurateur Nobu Matsushita is known throughout the world, of course, but some of his fans may not realize that Nobu has recently opened his first restaurant in Hawaii: Nobu Waikiki. Shinichiro and Takeshi say, "We are already receiving many booking requests from Cardmembers, so be sure to contact your Centurion Concierge if you are interested in dining at Nobu Waikiki on your next trip to Hawaii."

FAMILY TRAVEL

Laniakea Beach
Kamehameha Highway outside Haleiwa
Oahu
Located on Oahu's north shore, Laniakea Beach is world-famous as a surfing destination, but Laniakea Beach also offers a rare opportunity to observe sea turtles in their natural habitat. Almost every day, Hawaiian green turtles crawl ashore here to bask in the sun without regard to the many interested humans who come to watch and take photographs.

ROMANCE

Mount Tantalus
Road Top Drive
Honolulu
Shinichiro and Takeshi suggest Cardmembers "take a drive to the top of Mount Tantalus for spectacular views of Diamond Head, downtown Honolulu and Punchbowl Crater from the top of Mount Tantalus." If you're lucky enough to be on the mountain at sunset, the views of the city lights below are amazing.

Makapu'u Point
Kalanianaole Highway
Oahu
Another scenic and romantic vista is the one from Makapu'u Point—the easternmost point on the island of Oahu and the site of a beautiful and scenic lighthouse. You can see a beautiful view of Rabbit Island from there, and from December to April, you may also catch a glimpse of migrating humpback whales, as well.
